I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Part of it is because he's been built up a lot to draw in Hispanic audiences, part of it is because he's energetic, attractive, and very athletic.

hm, i should've rephrased that. why do people think he's a really good fighter/feel the need to give him so much praise?
but you are right, that's why he's so marketable.

He was undefeated in the UFC before last night if I remember correctly, which leads most people who think they know about MMA but really don't to think he's like the second coming of Fedor or something.

Strong fighter, lots of endurance, tough chin, very resistant to damage.
Was interesting to see him get out-classed by a better fighter.

he was 6-0 in ufc before last night. which is what created the fanfare about him. however, as i'm sure you know...
Jason Dent, John Halverson, Leonard Garcia, Doug Evans, and Alberto Crane don't exactly strike fear in people's hearts.
Clay Guida is ok, but nothing special.
Oh well, time to play the waiting game and see if it'll be Florian vs. Penn for the Lightweight Title, or if it'll be Penn - GSP. whatcha think, Spoon?

Yeah, Guida wore his ass out and he still kept coming. His fight with Crane where he was using the monitors was hilarious.

if u saw the show on spike that led up to the event, you could have really been touched by huerta's story. he was abandoned by his parents at an early age and didnt end up getting 'adopted' until after he got out of high school. he is definitely likable.

I think Penn needs to try to clean house at 155 before fucking with GSP again.

I don't think Penn would have a problem cleaning house at 155. Im much more interested in his fight with GSP.

Obv, and in current news Penn-GSP is happening later this year, but it seems like every time BJ wins 2 in a row at LW he wants to start jumping around.
