Interesting game made up be Elky on Pstars recently, my friend Lyric is really into it and it's actually a very fun interesting game.
Here's how you play:
Each player gets 6 cards. Yes 6 cards. There are blinds posted and a preflop betting round.
Then comes the flop. one card is burned and two seperate flops are flipped. Now before the next betting round, everyone discards 4 cards. Now you can use both cards in your hand, 1 card or no cards (just like holdem) and you're playing on 2 boards. The winner of each board gets half the pot, so obviously the goal is to scoop.
Now it plays just like holdem, there's a flop betting round, then two turns come, betting round, and then two rivers come, and there's a final betting round.
It should be played as a no limit game so everyone just gambles like a monkey.
Tips:
1. Overpairs are very very good, most likely someone will have a nut hand on one flop while nothing on the other.
2. Draws kinda suck.
3. If you actually take this game seriously you can kill it.
4. Fish will be really huge fish at this game.
Anything not clear?

wtf? Why do draws suck? I would think suited connectors would be great. Yay straight on one board and one flush on the other.

Everyone gets 6 cards and 2 boards and you're comfortable lobbing money around with non-nut flushes?

You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

We get a game called Jaurez (no idea where the name came from) at Binions off and on. Its normally played like pot limit Omaha 8, but with 5 hole cards, 2 flops, 2 turns, 1 river. The pot is split between the best hi and low hands overall.
Drawing hands get crushed in this game, while tighter players who play big made hands rack up tons of chips

the problem with draws is most likely someone has a hand on one board or another, and by playing a draw we allow ourselves to be a dog on both boards. and even if we hit one its a split unless we hit another (its rare to have a double draw).
But if you have like mid pair on one board and a draw on another its pretty good.
