I'm planning on getting a PS3 - should I consider upgrading to an HDTV in addition?

What are the odds of pokerstars adding the PS3 to their FPP store?

A6 vs AK on jokerstars or A6 v AK on a different site?
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

So xbox 360 or ps3? i cant decide which one i want. I really only want the 360 for halo 3, and its much cheaper, especially after they drop the price (which im sure they will soon). The ps3 though looks like it will be much better. Thoughts?

I love my 360 and XBox live. But then again, I want a PS3 too...

If PokerStars does decided to add it to their FPP store, that would be enough to get me back from FT.

I saw the preview for FF12 today. Looked cool until they were like "SHE MUST LEAD THEM TO THE FUTURE!!!" SHE?!?!?!?! WTF, I am sick of these female main characters, they all look the same and all suck ass. I want badass guys like cloud or seifer almasy. None of this estrogen bullshit. FUCK, I'M SO PISSED I'M GOING TO GO BEAT UP A MIDGET. A female midget.

I'd almost say the technology alone makes the PS3 worth getting.

I say wait for the PS3 to come out before making any decisions. Even PSM (play station magazine) was questioning sony's claims about the PS3 and whether or not it is worth insanely high price for it.

Hello Robert,

We are looking for gift certificates from companies that would sell the
Playstation. We hope to have this in place in early 2007. Thank you for

Yeah, I wasn't planning on getting it right away. I figure I'll wait for the first few waves to come out and check out the reviews, etc. But most likely I'll end up with one - and get this: it will be my very first non-cartridge system. That's right kids, time to give the 'ole NES some down-time.

Unless you have a massive screen or you sit very close to your screen you won't be able to see the difference (http://www.hometheatermag.com/gearworks/0105viewvrez/).

Can't wait for UHDV http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultra_H...finition_Video

Quote:
Preliminary response of the UHDV was somewhat negative. This was not because of the lack of the promised technology, but more in the fact that it was too good. Some viewers got motion sickness when viewing the video image because the image was so close to reality.

someone was telling me that the PS3 comes with a surround sound system. any confirmation on this?

if it does, then i will buy it for a dvd player/surround sound system alone. i dont play much PS2 anymore (mostly because of poker), but i would play some if i had a PS3
