I think they're going to want to avoid war, Turkey being in NATO and Russia having a lot on its plate, but they're both going to try to look like their doing right by their people. So you'll see them continue to retaliate without those retaliations being obvious provocations for war. Like Russia trying to pass a law enshrining the truth of the Armenian Genocide, or Turkey dumping arms into the hands of Syrian forces that Russia doesn't like.

Turkey are fucking idiots though. I mean even American people are starting to wake up to the fact that Turkey have been supplying arms to ISIS to fight the Kurds.

Turkey warned Russia days in advance of "serious consequences" if Russia did not stop attacking ISIS. Turkey aren't too impressed with the attacks because it's compromising their supply of cheap oil from ISIS, which of course is stolen from Syria or Iraq.

Turkey are definitely not good guys in this.

Did anyone see the stadium full of football fans booing the minute's silence for the Paris victims? And the chants of "Alluah Akbar"?
