Next up iron upgrade. Seems I am waiting on Iron for my upgrades now. IMO, I don't think you want Timber & Clay to outpace Iron, by more than 4 levels.

This can't be right.

There's supposed to be beginner protection for 5 days, and the world just started 4 days ago. Are you positive, or is just for abandoned villages?

clay pit lvl 15, gonna upgrade this in 20 minutes then go lift (wow )

Well, anyway. I have 15/14/11 and 50 incoming spears. That's what I get for being away all weekend.

I plan to have ~150 spearmen out raiding other villages tomorrow and I decided the cheapest way to defend myself is just to upgrade my hiding place. There are lots of strong players near me and I don't want to even have to worry about whether my defense will be strong enough.

Current:

Timber level 16
Clay level 15
Iron level 11
Village HQ level 3
Barracks level 1
Wall level 1
Hiding place level 2 (more upgrades on the way)

Plus 45 spearmen with 15 more on the way

attacking my first active village the momment his begin protection was up. Since he's right next door to me, i sent every troop i have at my disposal. I hope this doesnt turn out to be a bust and i only get like 20/20/20.

I also hope that my high point value is enough to deter anyone from attacking me for the next 22 mins.

fuck yea! Even with a luck of -15% and a morale less than 100, I attacked my neighbor with 50 spearmen/35 swordsmen lost nobody and came back filled to the brim with resources!

I raided an abandoned village, I took the max. Then I raided again, but now my troops only took 2/3 of what they could. Does this mean the village is tapped out or can I keep raiding it for more, anyone know?

yah bigred, i just sent everyone becuase i had an inactive but not abadoned village right next door. I attacked it the momment all out beginner defenses dropped which meant for me to be attacked, someone would need to have attacked me immiedatly after i lost my immunity.

You should focus almost completely on resources until you get them to like 12/12/10 or 13/13/11 only sparesly upgrading you warehouse, HQ, etc

Troops have no point value. i.e. you can't tell how many troops someone has by the points they have.

You would need to carry at least 50 total points to have a barracks, so attack smaller guys at will.

I have an abandoned village 1 square away and 3 villages <50 points 2 squares away, who all just got out of beginner protection. That's still 1h28mins per raid for my spears+swords to go there and come back, but it's a nice supplementary income. So far I've raided 3.3k in resources.

I'm kinda hoping noone will attack me, cuz I'm 299 points and part of the 10k tribe FTR

Oh, and this guy directly above me is 148 points.. I'm wondering if he has any defense, cuz that'd only take me 44 mins to raid him and get back home..

Yeah well I have well over 500 infantry, approaching 500 cavalry, assorted rams/catapults/scouts, am only a few days away from the LONG AND EXPENSIVE tech to nobles, I have more money then I know what to do with (seriously), my village HQ runs 24/7, literally, and everyone around me is absolutely terrified of me.

If I had to guess, I would say 'Rilla has gone forward in true aggressive style. Build just enough to create a large early army and rely on them to gather resources from others instead of your own grounds. This may prove to be a viable option, only time will tell.

I attacked this 148 points guy above me, and he turned out to be an active player anyway (killed his 30 spears and raided all his resources).. then I check my world 1 village (which I started up for practice purposes after my world 2 one) and I have an incoming attack.. from way across the map. It's gonna hit in like 2 days or something.. from the guy I raided in world 2. Grudge yes? lol..

yah, my resources come from being a man and raiding other men's resources.

On another note, that guy i said would hopefully become a nice little resource den has become active again. I just hit him for a morning pillaging and he had 7 spearmen made. which means im gonna have to turn my troops around and attack him again once they get back to try and see if he'll just quit.

Problem is, to be profitable, you need atleast 3-4 farms to cycle through imo.. which might be a problem if they play back at you or use most of their resources themselves..
