Yeah it's pretty funny. I've only seen one of the movies but I'm not sure which season they tie into.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

The black and white movie was just meant to be a stand alone movie. Someone liked it enough to turn it into a series.

A funny Canadian comedy for a change. I still haven't seen the movie but I will get around to it for sure. I think there's a second movie on the way as well.

I'm a die hard fan. Even waiting in line for 2 hours to meet ricky julian and bubs.
The final episode just aired a month ago actually. "Say goodbye to the bad guys". it leads into the movie that's just about to come out in oct 09 called "countdown to liquor day"
I have no clue why it didn't take off in the states, but i'd imagine it failed due to corey and trevor leaving the show in the 5th season i think. they left because they were treated actually pretty horribly on the set. trevor had a blog online that he explained why, but i can't find it. myspace blog.

oh and if you haven't seen it, download the Christmas special. it outlines how everything started. even how lahey got banned from the force lol. his plastic bag santa appearance in the church where ricky is sellin dope, plus his latest appearance in the final episode which aired about a month ago is his best performance hahaha

Sounds about right. The guy who plays Ricky apparently gets really, really into his roll as Ricky, even when the camera is off. No doubt he treated them the same off camera as on camera.

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.
