Yea I should...its gonna be hard though casue I am back in town to kick it with another girl so we are going out tonite. After that I have to go back to Santa Cruz because I have no clothes. I will probably hit her up tommorrow or the day after. Commuting back and forth for girls is tough but worth it.

so I went out with gabe for some tapas. It was gabe, his two sisters, and 4 of their friends. Gabe doesnt like eggs and something had egg in it, so he gave it to me. The dish ran out before everyone got some. So they all look down at our end of the table and I have like one big serving of it. I pretty sure gabe planned it. Anyways this one crazy chick kept calling me ja-rule but she seemd pretty cool. We get more drunk and she gets more loud, but not in a annoyingly-loud-drunk-girl way, she was still cool. Im drunk and kinda say something to gabe about her and hes like, "dude shes just out going like that, shes in a really serious relationship back home." Not sure if this is A) a cock block or B) the truth. Either way it doesnt matter to me, Im just tryin to hang out, not tryin to be that guy that. We end up back at gabes sisters house, me and gabe are eating a mexican dish in which they use these flat cornflour disk to wrap meat and vegetables in, you dont need a fork or anything, they are delicious. The loud, but not annoying-loud, chick is on the couch seemingly passed out. Me and gabe start discussing music, hip hop specifically. All of a sudden she sits upright and starts yelling about getting in contact with me on facebook, and how we should be friends. I dont really do facebook and Im kinda into my delicious mexican cuisine and the conversation we are having. Doesnt matter because she promptly passes back out anyways.
cliffnotes: had a lot of fun, gabe cockblocks, passed out chick gets the facebook poltergeist, at some point gabe eats a bratwurst-oreo sandwich.
p.s. ty for dinner gabe.

Today I tried to make sure there's a hotel room waiting for Lukie when he gets to Las Vegas, but this might require a phone call on his part, too. Which is something he's probably too lazy and drunk to do right now. I kind of hope he ends up having to sleep on gabe's floor the first night, because that would be hilarious. Maybe if gabe's generous he'll sleep with Lukie in his bed.
His name wasn't originally on the reservation but we had to add it when we realized he'd be the first one in our room to get there, although I paid for the room with my credit card.

So I was looking at my sink full of dirty dishes at 3 AM, and I was like, nah, I don't feel like doing them right now, I'll play poker instead. Then I owned two satellites to this weekend's $1050 tournament and had one of my best days ever, and my first 1K+ day in a LOOOONG time. Hopefully I'll keep running well in Vegas.
Funny how huge days often seem to happen when you're not taking it all that seriously.

Oakley was 11yr 1mo and had a tumor on his spleen (cuasing him to look very emaciated recently) which ruptured and bled into his stomach (cuasing him to bloat in the stomach region)
Had you told me 3 months ago that he would not live to see this winter, I wouldn't have been suprised, but it wasn't fun waiting at the vets to have him put down.

You had a dog named Rilla???
My girlfriend's dog had to be put down a few months ago. It was going strong and still pretty young and everything. But Daschunds have lots of back problems due to their poor design. So it must have tried jumping off something and hurt it's back and over the course of a day after whatever happened it slowly and painfully became crippled, so we had to put it down.

Lol swig, im Canadian and we love to make wine up here. Well we as in people who are of age to make it. Usually older people. Anyways most of the people who make their own really like it.. then again of course they would say that.
How does your beer taste? Comporable to a budget beer?

In HS I used to work at a ballin restaurant as a Maitre d'. The restaurant was connected to a tapas bar that the owner had just started. Anyway, I had to answer phones and when we were full I was supposed to try to direct people to the tapas bar next door.
I can't tell you how many times I would tell old uppity people "I'm sorry the restaurant is full but you are welcome to try out the tapas bar next door." and then hear nothing but crickets on the other end of the line. chirp, chirp . . . chirp, chirp.
Me: "Hello, are you still there? The bar serves appetizer portions of terrific Mediterranean cuisines called tapas."
Customer: "Oh my goodness, I thought you said topless."

no, homemade is actually better for you because there is still yeast in the beer which contains vitamins and other things that alcohol typically depletes from your body.
SS, moonshine is distilled, wine is fermented...

Home brewing gives you a good combo effect. After purchasing all the equipment (~$100 to start) it costs about $30 for 5 gallons (~48 beers), or about 60c per bottle. This is more expensive than natty light, but just barely. The better batches are comparable with a good micro brew (sierra nevada pale ale), and if desired the alcohol level can be increased (we made a beer with a real light body, like a german lager that was 7.5%, dangerous).

That's weird. With my hockey team, we would always brew our own because it was cheaper than store beer and obviously after games we would drink a lot. It tasted almost as good as the standard stuff, but everyone got the green shits the next day. Even when we changed the recipe we still got the same next day results. We just figured it was an effect of all home brews.

if you don't properly sterilize the equipment I could see this being a problem.
It's cheaper to by the bottom shelf beer, but not by much. If you compare to beers of similar taste it's 1/2 price or more.

yah I saw a show on home brewing and they kept stressing that you need to sterilize the hell outta all the equipment. Youre pretty much controlling the growth of a bacteria, just like making yogurt or cheese. By not properly sterilizing you are giving up a lot of that control.

In Canada, the cheapest beer is ~$10 for a 6 pack. Or a bottle of Old English for about $7.
So $.60 a beer sounds like a kick ass deal for us Canucks.
But I dont like the sound of this green shit afterwards.
I'm gonna research this some more.
