What are your suggestions for passing the time when you're stuck in traffic? What absurdities have you witnessed in others trying to do the same?

it's gotta be way longer than that. the statistic would need to be quantified more accurately though with things like city resident, drives car to work, etc

1/2 hour commute each way, 5 days per week, 50 weeks a year for 45 years = 11250 hours in a lifetime... divided by 24 hours per day and 7 days per week... is a little less than 70 weeks... so obv > 1yr.
Aren't back of the envelope calcs fun?
