Research has shown that over the course of a lifetime, the average American will spend literally weeks of their existence sitting in traffic. You might be inclined to react unenthusiastically to the thought of pitching those hours into the great abyss every year, but as it turns out, that time doesn't really have to go to waste. In reality, you might find that being stuck in gridlock is your favorite time of the day.
The list from the site where I got this quote kinda sucks. I'm sure we can make a better one.

What are your suggestions for passing the time when you're stuck in traffic? What absurdities have you witnessed in others trying to do the same?

weeks?

it's gotta be way longer than that. the statistic would need to be quantified more accurately though with things like city resident, drives car to work, etc

I poop, I cut a hole in my car seat and worked a valve to open and close in the bottom of the body of the car.

I then do not spend weeks of my life on the toilet at home!

I can dream

OK seriously stop copying topics right from the Tucker Max message board. I didn't say anything the first couple of times but come on man it's just stupid. http://messageboard.tuckermax.com/sh...ad.php?t=25234

1/2 hour commute each way, 5 days per week, 50 weeks a year for 45 years = 11250 hours in a lifetime... divided by 24 hours per day and 7 days per week... is a little less than 70 weeks... so obv > 1yr.

Aren't back of the envelope calcs fun?
So you click their picture and then you get their money?
