inspired by the NZ guy (Silu?) who bought a bar with his poker winnings, I thought we should share what our poker winnings has got us:
For me:
I (just today) put a deposit on a flat and am taking my missus away for her 30th.
now this only amounts to some $3k (obv i put more on my deposit), but considering I was a losing player before I found FTR ...i'm well happy!!! My hobby pays me money!
Now the grind can start again (I've left $250 to play with. I'm gonna destroy $10nl...I hope)....
anyone else wanna post what they've done with their winnings???

I'm working on something that has been in the works for a couple years. I've been looking forward to the day when I can make a thread about it... The plan is this summer.

Girlfriend: Why are the werewolves more important than living life?!
Girlfriend: Are you on the forums doing the werewolves again?
Girlfriend: Soo... you forgot to run that errand, but you had time to werewolf? Wtf?

Poker paid for my holiday last August, and at the moment is paying my way through uni. I've been reading FTR since April 2004 and thus have a lot to be grateful to this community for

poker fuels my reckless lifestyle, and it bought me a sweet £350 Armani watch and a shit ton of other designer clothes. It's basically putting me through uni without having to worry about expenses.

I gots a Real Doll. Not a whole one though, just the head. They're super expensive.
I paid a year of tuition for my wife (so lame and practical), a laptop, a sweet Hugo Boss suit and other clothes, a bunch of power tools, some plumbing work and balla lunches out every day at work among other crap I can't remember.
I cash out too much though...gotta stop doing that and move up.

Groceries, rent, girlfriend expenses, new computer, monitor, external video card, a TON of coaching/poker subscriptions, a bunch of lost prop bets/flips, other random crap. I, too, thank FTR for sure and pokerfanatic for helping me find this site and alexos for allowing me to play. I really think FTR is the best poker site for multiple reasons.

Paid for some of my wife's wedding ring (about half, so 2.5k), paid for a trip to Mexico, and three years ago I used 10k for part of a down payment on our house.
Kind of crazy to know I actually made that much off of poker at one point, now I don't even play anymore. I've been watching some videos lately and am going to try to rebuild a roll, NL10 here I come!
