I played the $0.5 a few times just to make the FT so I could ask for a 9 way chop. Never thought that it would happen in a 'real' mtt...

not sure, but if you dont have more chips than u started with, if they did a chip-count chop then you would be getting back less than the entry fee i think?

Ok, to save you guys from repeating the donktastic decisions of others I'll spell it out...

The table is full. This is a final table and all nine players are still in. If you look at the chat though the game is paused so they can discuss a deal. Usually deals are discussed when it gets down to 2-3 players, occasionally more. Making a deal with 9 people left is, well... pretty rediculous.

For all 9 players to agree to such a deal makes it painfully obvious that these players are pretty clueless. They have the mentality of "Wow, I made a final table and I'll be more than happy to settle for any gauranteed amount of money that is more than what 9th place gets."
A decent player with any concept of equity, any faith in their ablities, or any sense of competition wouldn't consider such nonesense.
