The best part is: The only legitimate team we have to play for the rest of the season are the Giants (And maybe make a case for Baltimore though it would be tough (And absolutely no case for the Browns(Becuase they suck(Alot))))

Don't get me wrong, the Steelers are a great team (you have to be to beat the Eagles and the Patriots back to back), but I think they will get knocked outta the playoffs early. If I'm wrong, and they make it pretty far, there's no way they will beat New England at New England. No.way.in.hell.

OK, I love the Chiefs, but maybe it's time to accept defeat this year. They would have to play perfect the rest of the season to have a shot.

@Cleveland, @Cincinnati, Washington, Jacksonville, Jets, @Giants, Baltimore, @Buffalo.

All these teams are hovering around .500 and they all get to lose to the Steelers. Unless there are some freak injuries (to everyone) or the Steelers lose focus, they will end the season 15-1 (Should be 16-0, gah-dahm Ravens!). Then its 2 *easy* victories and we're in the bowl.

Cincinati=win
Washington= win
Jacksonville= win (Although if Leftwhich was playing I think it'd be closer.)
Jets=??? (Depends on wether it's Pennington or not?)
Giants= win (It's right about time for the wheels to fall of Big Blue.)
Baltimore= Loss (I think the Ravens Defense will hold up.)
Buffalo= ??? (Buffalo is one of those teams that are better than thier record refelcts.)

As for the Championships? I have a feeling it's going to be New England vs. Indy.

Jets: even is Pennington, he's going to be very exposed to our blitz game. It'll tear him apart.

Baltimore: The Steelers are going to prepare most for this game out of them all becuase Baltimore is not *allowed* to win the regular season series. It's going to be Steeler football, brutal and simple.

Buffalo: I havent really been paying attention. They might win on the merit of it being the last week and we've probably already got the AFC North title and probably the AFC title wrapped up. We might let this one by...

Inndy doesn't have the defense to make it to the championship. Patriots v Steelers.

I'm still praying the Lions will find a way it to the playoffs, but it looks like a long shot now. They have a great start to get off to 4-2 and then we lose games they easily could've won to the Cowboys and the Redskins ... geez. Now it looks really bad with the next 3 games being against the Jaguars, the Vikings, and the Colts on Thanksgiving.

But ... if Roy Williams and Charles Rogers can miraculously stay healthy next year, we gotta make the playoffs then, right?! Our passing game would then look like the Colts' when compared to the Lions passing game this year when Williams isn't 100%, and that should also open up some room to finally have a real running game, for the first time since Barry left, and then they could really make some noise!

Well ... that's the plan, anyway. Knowing the Lions its still extremely unprobable. 8-8, winning and losing every other game, is the safe pick.

I cant believe it, i browse FTR about 4 hours or so every day and i missed this post, I feel srry for rilla cause he will have to change that gorilla avatar for a nice pats helmet, for a whole year, the patriots are invincible at home, and nothing is going to change that, I hope it comes down to Pats vs. Steelers in the AFC Championship, just so things are more interesting..

Ya, Chiefs all the Way! ... Maybe next year when they get new players to play defense rather than just a new coordinator. I think 2/3 of their linebackers are white too... Trent Green is about as mobile as a rock too...

I gotta give the Bears credit, but come on... how can a team be so bad for so long. I understand that they went 13-3 (fluke) like 4 years ago, but no one really thought they would compete. Jim Miller was their starting QB. In my opinion, Rex Grossman is not the answer to their problems.

The bears have had their problems on multiple levels.
Our first problem has been our head coaching. We had the miserable Dave Wanedstat for many years then we got Dick Jauron. I didn't mind Jauron, the players were the problem for the most part he wasnt. Now we have Lovie Smith, I am not ready to make my decision on him yet, but if he wins he gets my vote.

During our 13-3 season we could have easily been 15-1 or 10-5. Notice, one of the games we lost of the three was the first game of the year against the defending Super Bowl Champ Rams (which we played pretty well). The other two games we lost to the Packers, we can't beat the packers if we our lives depended on it (although we did once this year, we'll see if that holds up in a couple of weeks).

Jim Miller was our starting quarterback, but to really understand it you have to go back even farther. It was either Wandstat's last year or Jauron's first year but we drafted the awesome #8 Cade Mcknown, which blew half our season b/c he sucked ass. Then we got the always injured Chris Chandler, which, at one time he was good but he's too old now. Well, after about his third concussion they decided to put the Third String quarter back in, i.e. Jim Miller. This unknown quarterback took us to the playoffs. What he also did was take steroids, which got him suspended a number of games in the middle of the next season. Combine that with a massive amount of injuries (most in the league that year) we had two dismal seasons.

Last year we decided that good 'ole Kordel Stewart would answer our Quarterback fears; wrong. Stewart sucked ass more than Chandler did and once we were disqualified from the playoffs, they decided to put Grossman in. He won his first 2 of 3 games last year, which to bears fans, is friggin awesome.

This year as a second year quarterback Grossman RAN our offense. He was our offense; as you can see without him our offense can't do shit. He also plays with heart. He injured himself scoring a touchdown against the Vikings. We were coming back into that game and we had a chance to win it and if the 2nd string didn't suck so much ass and gone 0-4 in passing we might have. Grossman is the future of this team.

You can overlook our offense because we do have a 3rd string quarterback. Somehow he's won his first 3 games as a starter, and only because our defense has saved our ass. In my opinion our defense is one of the best in the league. In all our 5 losses our average points we lost by is less than 7. If it were up to me we would play defense for 60 mins of the game and screw offense. Give them the ball at the 10 yard line and force them to beat us.

We also have the youngest team in the league for the 2nd straight year. We get grossman back (will have to be next year) watch out because right now we are winning games without an offense or a quarterback, wait until we get both.

We are the spoilers of the NFC. We play the mighty Colts next week at home (mind you they scored 7 touchdowns yesterday). It will be a huge test for us. We've beaten Greenbay, and Minnesota was very lucky we didn't beat them. We are only 1 game out of first place in the central division with 3 games left to be played against division rivals. All wins we get are presents because to tell you the truth I dont expect to win but we do anyway.

Real Madrid pfft, they are a bunch of overpaid wasters, look at the Sevilla game, totally useless. Figo, Ronaldo, Beckham all crap. Owen was the only one trying and they pull him off (to the derision of the crowd).

And Chelsea? Talk about trying to buy success. Where do you think it will leave Chelski when Mr Abramovich tries to leave and you have a squad of 40+ first teamers on massive wages?
