I don't know. Very bizarre, I'm sure people in the media will be talking about this a bunch tomorrow.
This is totally live, too, he keeps mentioning how many people are viewing at certain points, sometimes replying verbally or in the chat box. I'm not sure if he went to sleep at some point, but I think he started filming on Friday night. It'd be hard to believe that he's been going at it since then, but this guy has completely lost it, so who knows. I'm almost positive the dude is high on something, which could explain it too.
It's like driving by a horrific car crash. You don't want to look, but you can't take your eyes off of it because the shit is so crazy.

He crazy!!! He has lost it. OMFG!!! Crack is a terrible thing. He keeps saying he's not on drugs, but to me that only makes him look worse. I would understand his rant if he was on a 48 hour binge.

But for some reason I am still listening. This is too funny. I kinda liked Marbury, being from Crooklyn and all, but this really is crazy. TMZ is on this too. So he is now attacking ESPN, TMZ, and Yahoo.

Is there some kinda back story here? Is he like an ex basketballer or something? I don't really get why this is such a thing. I also don't watch basketball, and since I've never really followed it the only players who freaking out would mean anything to me are Jordan or Larry Byrd

He was a basketball prodigy growing up in Brooklyn. He went to Georgia Tech and had a pretty awesome freshman year, then went pro, which was a time where freshmen weren't necessarily jumping to the pros. Probably should have stayed another year at least, but hindsight is 20/20.
He got traded immediately to the Minnesota Timberwolves after being drafted by the Bucks (thanks Wiki), where he played with KG for a while. I think there was a "me or KG" sort of thing that went on and he got shipped out of town. Played for a few teams, then went to the New York Knicks while making an absurd amount of money (20 million a year I think). He feuded with coaches (Larry Brown and Isaiah Thomas), then Mike D'Antoni came in last year and basically said he didn't want him. He sat the bench (making $20 million) in street clothes until he was traded to the Celtics. He didn't play much and didn't have much of an impact (as I recall).
Now he's a free agent. He's got this page up where he just talks into the video camera all day. He has to be on some sort of drug, me thinks, just the way he's handling himself.
He also started a shoe company where he sold his shoes for $20 a pair or something, "Starbury" shoes. He has a tattoo on his left temple of his logo. Very weird cat.

holy crap, I just clicked on the link again and he's doing the SAME thing he was doing last night. he keeps playing the same song over and over, and over, and over.......wow. I missed PTI today but saw in the background as I was hanging with the wife (DVR ftw) that they at least mentioned it, wonder what they said. Crazy ass mofo probably.

He used to be pretty decent, but he fell off. He refused to play for his team (when he was with the knicks) when his coach told him to get in the game lol.

Three things I've seen when checking in...
1) Marbury talking and not making sense. The guy can't speak coherently most of the time.
2) Marbury dancing to music (playing the same song most of the time). I think it's a Kanye West song, and I swear I heard it 10-12 times in the two hours or so I had this mess in my background. I also saw this guy dance in his boxers, highlight of my life.
3) Marbury is in the background with one of his peeps talking into the mic. I checked in for like five minutes at a time and saw two jackasses talking into the mic. One of the times Marbury yelled out (he was in the background) that he needed a chair and the dude almost sprinted to get it for him like Marbury was his master.
I was initially really intrigued by this. You don't want to look at the horrific car crash, but you know you're going to look at it. Stare at it, actually. But now that I've seen it, and it's just some crazy douche-bag doing what he does on a camera.......umm, I'm out. Hopefully I don't miss him committing suicide or taking drugs on camera.
P.S. Somebody post here if he's doing something really cool, I'm not checking into his site again.
