I am a HUGE Steelers fan. A bit of an outcast during football season here in Massachusetts
They are playing amazing football right now and Rothlisberger is playing a lot like Tom Brady did when he took the Pats to the Superbowl the first year.
I would give the Steelers the slight edge over Seattle but it shoudl be a great game. I hope the Bus gets to hold that trophy!
I am taking the over...that's it

I sent Rilla a pm before the Steelers\Colts and Hawks\Skins game last weekend saying "we both gonna win out and goto the superbowl!" and I can't beleive it acctually happened. I'm a season ticket holder with the hawks and I'm so stoked on life right now its rediculous.

Seahawks looked real good. They bitch slapped Carolina who looked completely lost on both sides of the ball. They were a little one dimensional because of the injuries to their running backs and Delhomme played like a 3rd stringer!
I think the Superbowl will be close
28-23 Steelers and the over

This is comming from a Steeler fan who thought we were 50/50 with Cinci, 90/10 with the Colts and about 60/40 (in favor of Denver) with the Broncos.
I really don't see anything that scares me by this Seahawks team. If we can get pressure like we have been all playoffs, the game wont be close.
This is, of course, biased towards my team becuase I've seen much more of them. But with our O-line and D-line play recently, it'll be very difficult to beat us.
Shaun Alexander played a lot of soft defenses this year and though he did impress on sunday, it's been a year or two since someone ran for 100 yrs on the Steelers (ignoring Edge's performance earlier for no reason other than to make it sound more impressive)
I don't like to bet on sports, and probably never will for some time. But I really think that
The Steelers are the biggest lock in history.

Smithers, use the amnesia ray.
You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

Wanna bet something non monetary for the fun of it? Like if you win, I have to put the signature of your choosing in my profile, and vice versa.

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

The last line of that post was a joke if you never go into the sports betting forum.
And I don't see how people being bad at betting corrolates into money in your pocket. Line movement?
In any case, i'll never bet on sports becuase I am probably an idiot.
But that doesn't stop me from believing the Steelers can and will win this game.
I mean, before the playoffs, everyone had the top AFC teams ahead of the top NFC teams. The fact that we beat them should be enough reason for anyone to believe the Steelers will win, right?

The Steelers lost to those same teams also (Cincy, Indy). They problably would have lost to Cincy if they didn't take out Carson on the first play. Any given Sunday.
