I wasn't sure where to put this question, so sorry if it's in the wrong place.
I've read up about blackjack from some other sites, salsa's blog, and i have the chart to help...but is that chart for single player blackjack or for multi player blackjack? or both?
this is probably a dumb question but i wanted to be certain.
thanks in advance

Doesn't matter... you're still playing the dealer, not everyone else.

most multiplayer have so many decks that it doesn't matter at all
theoretically if the guy in front of you has drawn 9 2s to get to 18, then you'll want to double your 9 against a dealer 7 or something.
Makes more difference in a single deck game where there are strategy modifications based on exact compositions of your hand (i.e. 16 is not always a hit against dealer 10). But you don't find single deck games that allow multiplayer play.
There is a casino called Global Player and once a month it offers a +EV blackjack game, single deck, and you can play multiple hands to gain an even greater advantage
but generally, same BJ strategy. Why would you wanna play multiplayer anyway? Seems like a waste of time
