This evening on BBC2 show Dragon's Den, (similar to American Inventor in the US)
a poker player appeared asking for investment from the Dragons of £50k, he is a winning player and has won $500k (since Nov 2006) but spent the money on a holiday home and his family home and travelling the world.
He kept £20k for his BR of which he made £50k profit.
He wished to play 33 tornaments in a year.
He guarentees the Dragons 100% of the first £50k of his winnings.
After that the Dragons get 40% of his winnings.
So if you are a millionare bussinessman trying to beat the Bank of England interest rate of 0.5% pa do you invest £50k of your children's inheritence in this man?
Also can anyone stake me $100 to play 50NL my stats are 32/28

He did guarentee 100% return, just that the investors would get all of the winnings until they had their investment paid back.
None of them invested in the end, theyall saw it as gambling.
