It's next week at my school, a whole week off, and I'm going to Mexico with a bunch of friends. I heard that's where American students go for spring break. It'll be Rosarito Beach, anyone been there, or going there, knowing what to expect and what fun stuff there is to do down there!?

Dude, I dont know who youve been talking to, but mexican police do NOT fuck around.
Carry a lot of spare cash on you but watch it like a hawk. The world down there runs "off the books".
And if you see a gang of little kids running around, give them money. Theyre tiny fucking terrorists and a little bit of "protection money" goes a LONG, LONG way.

Yeah, I don't do or say any stupid stuff around the police when I'm travelling abroad, heard that they might hold you 24 hours if you drink booze on the streets, and that would definately suck.
So they have the tiny terrorsits down there, maybe they are like the kids in "hostel" if you've seen the movie, even though probably not as extreme

Lol! Mexican police are WAYYYY more crooked than that my friend. If they catch you doing anything wrong. You MUST pay them off or you will be put away for more than 24 hours.
I was actually reading in the paper a few weeks ago about a contractor from here (Vancouver) that was given a job down there by some rich couple. He got into an argument with the couple (don't remember the whole story) and they just paid off the police and said he was a criminal basically. He has been in their prison for years now. Only now has his family finally gone through our government channels to get him out. And even that is going to take a while as those wheels turn slowly.
Of course that is a worst case scenario but it gives you a picture of what they're like.

My suggestion? Take a camera.
My second suggestion? Take pictures with your camera.
I sometimes forget the second one, and then I'm like fuuuuuuck. Other times I actually take them (or they get taken for me), and then I have pictures of stuff I don't remember which is kind of cool.

Too tired for that right now, spring breaks can really be exhausting, police there was a joke though, especially in Mexico City, they just hang around, 20+ in one place doing nothing. No vomitting, that's no fun, and when it comes to girls it was mostly American freshman girls in Mexico for their first time, was fun
