I'm at school so I didn't hear any audio, and only watched about 10 min because I have class 10 min ago, and it still looks like a decent game

Audio is kinda important. Basically the game ranges form starting as a small celled entity that goes throug evolution, starts a civilization, and then flies through the galaxy brefriending, battling, aiding, etc other advanced beings. It's like the game of life. Looks like a huge time consumer though.

But i've been loking foward for this game for a longer period of time then any other game ever, since it was announced like a year ago or more...
And it's still not close to release!!!!
This game = orgasm in a box and my insane amount of hype for it SHALL NOT LET ME DOWN.
Ressurect this thread when it comes out so we can make AASAM animoles.

I remember them saying this about a game called Freespace (or something like that). They took so long to release it that it was outdated and no one wanted it. Hope this doesn't happen.

It won't this game is WAY ahead of it's time. There is nothing else remoteley similar coming out on the market anytime soon.
Remember the guy who is making this is responsible for basically the entire genre of Sim-everything, and I don't expect this to be a let down at all.
This game will have negatives though:
- The city/war aspect of the game will problabley be subpar when compared to RTS games such as Starcraft, as well as newer games because it is not the primary focus of the game.
- This game will be somewhat more limited then it is letting on in terms of creature-creation, as all creatures must have a spine so you can't make non-vertebrate animoles.
Other then that this game is going to kick major ass in all ways possible.

I just found out about this game yesterday, acutally. It looks to be WAY ahead of its time in its design, and I doubt it will be even close to outdated when they release it. I'm not really much of a computer gamer these days, but I'll still probably be watching this one closely.

Yeah it takes a lot from a lot of different genres so it cannt have as much depth as they do but to combine them all is amazing.
Plus you dont have to fight you could take over another city through diplomacy. But no one wants that.
The coolest thing was when he released the spider like thign into space.
