[extraordinary circumstances] for my friend David. He is an avid
skydiver,
and had a terrible accident a little while ago. Here is the link [

his
femur on impact with the ground. He also has no insurance to cover the
massive hospital bills. Since the accident, all players in our
community
[FlopTurnRiver] have been trying to raise as much money as possible for
him. I hope by telling you these extraordinary circumstances you can
understand where I am coming from with this.

Dave.
I'm sure you guys can do something much like you did with the Hurricane
Katrina donations (0.01 entry with 19.99 rake) except I would like to
request you make it a $20 entry with $30 rake [would pay like a $20
freezout, you guys keep $5 of the rake (so you still make your normal
profit) and the rest of the rake ($25) would be tallied up and donated
to
his PokerStars ID, which is 'B00NDOKSAINT' After the tournament by
PokerStars staff.

Response:

Hello Chris,

I am sorry but we are unable to offer the charity event you have
requested. We receive many requests for this type of event and we just
do
not have the staff to manage them.

Please extend to your friend our wishes for a speedy recovery.

Regards,

Henry
PokerStars Tournament Administrator

Sorry boon, im still gonna organize a private tourney though :P and its gonna be pretty high stakes ($50-ish) with 1/2 proceeds to you!

I bet they would jump at the chance if you made it $20+$30 with $5 also going to stars. I doubt they have the software for that though.

That sucks though but I can see why they cant do it.
