WTF?
Probably the worst ending to a show ever. I mean, I appreciate that they want the viewers to keep guessing and pondering possible outcomes, but THIS? I actually had to go online and see if there was another season coming, and even then it would've been a terrible season finale.
Damn it, I've never been so disappointed by a tv show ever.
Rants please!

What was more disappointing, the show or not winning the million?

that's fucking crazy really, 187k or the show sucking
I knew this show was big, though, when PTI devoted 1:30 to it on their show
I was like "wtf is going on" but then I asked a friend and they were like "yo the show is over this weekend" and I was like "oh"
I never got into it but I'd totally understand if this was motherfucking LOST or something

You're reading it wrong. I'm not saying that I wouldn't prefer 187k over a great finale. The point is I didn't expect winning $187k, but I did expect a better ending. Hence I'm more disappointed with the ending than my placing in the mill.

really though, what would have been worse, the ending they did, or one that wrapped everything up in a neat package/everyone got whacked.
I hate it when everything ends resolved and everything is happily ever after.

I liked it. Tense episode and they clearly were laughing at all the Who Will Whack T theorists. I never got why people just assumed something HAD to happen. Did you watch the show? Nothing happening was standard.

Meh, I never really got into that show. I watched the ending though. What made last night bad was no entourage.

I really enjoyed the finale. The fact that there was no music at the end and the screen faded to black tells me the guy who went into the washroom came back and whacked T0ny just as Meadow walked in the diner. At first I didn't really get it. I thought life went on just like always. But when you think about what Tony was remembering at the end of last weeks episode(In the season opener he and Bobby where on the boat talking about what it would be like to get whacked. Bobby says it probably just goes black, or something like that), it seems like a plausible ending. My two cents.

Some good stuff from Colin Cowheard & listeners:
Trashcona's blurb
The audience got whacked
It's all about proper parking! AJ's car, Phil's head getting squished, Meadow
The other Journey song was "Any way you want it"

i had no real problem with the ending, i just thought the episode in general kinda blew.
There was no relief when Phil got whacked, they never even mentioned Phil at any point after that. Nothing really resolved, and they brought on more pointless conflict (e.g. the A.J. car issue, and to a lesser degree, the Carlos flipping issue). The scenes with junior and with T and C talking to the shrink about AJ were very awkward and flowed poorly. The sitdown with NY was seemingly infeasible. Tony didn't kill anyone. All those things that make a season finale good were gone.

As a diehard, I loved it! There was so much going on in that last scene, it was one big rush then the blackout! There was no "fade to black" That was a blackout!
Check this out.....
The only thing I saw that was right, was that in the last scene we are seeing through Tony's eyes. Remember when he was speaking with
Bobby...basically saying that you don't see it happening? The credits at
the end refer to the man at the counter just as "man in diner", not
Nikki Leotardo. So here is what I found out. The guy at the bar is also
credited as Nikki Leotardo. The same actor played him in the first part
of season 6 during a brief sit down concerning the future of Vito. That
wasn't that long ago. Apparently, he is the nephew of Phil. Phil's
brother Nikki Senior was killed in 1976 in a car accident. Absolutely
Genius!!!! David Chase is truly rewarding the true fans who pay
attention to detail. So the point would have been that life continues
and we may never know the end of the Sopranos. But if you pay attention
to the history, you will find that all the answers lie in the characters
in the restaurant. The trucker was the brother of the guy who was
robbed by Christopher in Season 2. Remember the DVD players? The
trucker had to identify the body. The boy scouts were in the train store
and the black guys at the end were the ones who tried to kill Tony and
only clipped him in the ear (was that season 2 or 3?). Absolutely
incredible!!!! There were three people in the restaurant who had reason
to kill Tony and then it just ends.
Are you kidding me? This was pure genius.
Salut!
