Just stumbled upon some pretty neat free pc games:
1) Sumotori Dreams

This is a ridiculously hard and brutal game that mixes a lot of classic NES games together. The 1st boss is a giant fire-breathing version of Mike Tyson from Punch-Out who punches out the scenery as he tries to annihilate you. Here's a pretty funny vid of a dude trying to beat some of it

This is an innovative puzzle game in which you draw shapes that come to life to achieve the ultimate goal of making the ball roll into the star.
