i was bored, so i made this little program.

here's where i put the executable.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=W0U62OZ1

if there are better places for it, let me know.

anyways, you need the .NET framework installed for it to work. basically it's a tiny window that stays on top of everything else. you scroll the bar and the % updates in the title, and it displays the hand ranges. i copy-pasted the ranges from poker stove. it can go from 1-30%.

Nice job. I usually just leave poker stove open and use the slider someteimes. I did more before when I had no idea, but still have it just out of habit. This has some potential.

I luv u.

Can you add a second slider beneath it? Same thing, just having two would be nice. Or can I just open two copies?

version 0.0.0.2 released
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2K17SLPX

i've added the 4 hand rankings that curious123 requested. the program will look for all *.txt files in the same directory that it starts in (if you set up a shortcut, make sure you set the start directory).

the text files are fairly straightforward. 169 lines. each line is a hand in the format of "AK", "AKs", or "88". put them in order to your liking.

right-click on the window to bring up all the detected rankings. scroll wheel is supported, ranges are now 1-100%, and the window is sizable.

if you find any errors in the way it displays the hands, please let me know.

enjoy!

p.s. i am not responsible for you losing great amounts of monies, hair loss, blah blah, as a result of this program :P

and while i'm at it, here's another mini-program. it's a simple HU 1 hand vs 1 hand, based on the information here:

How about adding a box where you can input a starting hand and compute the equity of that starting against the range?

The idea was to be able to use the info while at the tables. But I am not quite sure how useful this would be anyways.

I use pokerstove for this all the time while 4 tabling. If you haven't tried it or downloaded it you should.
