While I was eating about half an hour ago I was going through random stuff on Wikipedia and talking to some semi-random girl I know via the Internet and this came up:

[6:04 PM] spoonitnow: that makes about as much sense as saying falling on your ass came from sin
After a few moments, I don't even know what to say. I mean I came back pretty quickly with a "you're a dumbass" line, but I think this hurt me really bad somewhere down in my soul. I can't even explain how I feel right now. It's like all of a sudden I feel almost physically sick.
I really hate stupid fucking people jesus fucking christ ugh.

I guess out of context I'd think the same thing, but for the sake of clarity I give her a lot of shit about being a jesus freak so she defends a lot of her decisions/opinions by saying that's the Christian way of doing X, Y and/or Z.
To give everyone an idea, she's very active with some groups that go to abortion clinics and hold anti-abortion signs and things like that.

The problem with christianity being a viable option with any intellegent person trying to find answers to questions to the why and how of life is original sin.Nobodys buying in to that Adam and Eve crap anymore so we don't need Jesus to pay for our sins.

I saw this on Facebook earlier and had an epiphany. The reaction to what's happening here is very much like the degen's reaction when he decides to sit at 1knl with his $437.60 and calls a shove with 4th pair against middle set. It's like oh shit, let's try to think really hard that things are different than they are.
I think I should get into writing Christiany self-help books. Thoughts?
