I've recently got a SNES (back to the old skool!).
Can anyone remeber the cheat to play as all chararcters (ie Balrog, Bison etc)???
I've tried google (my work blocks some) - but can't seem to find it.
Am I imagining there was a cheat??? I'm sure there was.
ps Love my SNES. Playing Mariokart is quality - and Street Fighter, hadn't played in 15years or so - straight to level 7, completed 1st time. Hadoken! Hadoken!

You need the later version of the game... the original SFII only had 8 and the 'character unlock' cheat only unlocks 8 new sprites of them iirc.

|
<@d0zer> how will you learn if I don't berate you harshly?

yeah - loving it
any games you'd recommend? I've Kart and SFII. Gonna get Super Tennis and Satrfox. They're all I can remember.
oh the days of being 16, stoned and playing SNES for hours on end....if only online poker had been around - All those hours wasted pefecting the art of the dragon punch could have gone into that instead....

Any Mario is win
Secret of Mana / Chrono Trigger / Zelda LttP if you like rpgs
Any Donkey Kong Country
Earthworm Jim (of course)
Killer Instinct
NBA Jam: Tournament Edition
Contra
R-type
F-Zero
Mortal Kombat II or III
I'm sure I'm missing a really obvious one, will have a think and post back
Also, SF is never wasted time. Ever.

Never liked RPG's.

I've got to admit Earthworm Jim passed me by, obv heard of it, but never played it. Might have a look at it on ebay.

That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

Final Fight was a pretty effing good game.
Super Mario All-Stars is good, just to have all the Marios in one cartridge.
Mario Paint was an extremely creative game...I thought it was damn good.
Super Punch-Out was an awesome sequel to the original. I seriously suggest it.
And last but not least...SUPER METROID WAS POSSIBLY THE BEST GAME ON THAT CONSOLE!!!@!@!#!@@$

You absolutely have to get Zelda - link to the past
also Super Probotector/Super Contra (not sure which version was released in the UK)
Man now I really want to get my NES and SNES working again. IIRC the cable/box that plugs into the tv is broken on both of them

QFT. I discovered this like, in the last year or so, played it on an SNES emulator and coudln't believe what I was missing. Awesomely replayable too, 'cause you can always try to beat it faster! And work on wall jumping, bomb jumping... SO GOOD.

Yeah super metroid is probably the best video game ever created.
I'm pretty sure that hasn't been a game since that has demonstrated excellence in every aspect like that game did.
