haven't seen one of these here, so I figured I would get it started. first, some ground rules:
When posting a question, it must be one that you know the answer to. it also must be one that you didn't have to look up on the internet or elsewhere.
When answering a question, the same applies. looking up the answer just ruins it for everyone, and by everyone, I mean me.
we'll start off relatively easy

the real Seymour Skinner. and I think it was because he didn't want him ruining his name or something like that.
There was an alternate ending made to the classic 'who shot mr. burns' episode. in the alternate ending, who shot him? how did they make it so that Mr. Burns last 'clue' still made sense?

wasnt his final clue pointing to West and South on the compass or something, so they thought itwas Wayland Smithers, but then you could flip it upside down and its Maggy Simpson? Or was that all part of the real ending?

One of my favorite episodes:
Homer: “Okay once more…where are we going?”
Edna: “Capital city”
H: “Why are you and the old lady in the car?”
Mrs. Skinner: “We’re going to talk Armin Tanzarian into coming back.”
H: “Why is marge here?”
Marge: “I came up with the idea.”
H: “Why am I here”
M: “Because (something) Capital city is no place for 3 unescorted ladies.”
H: “Why are the kids here?”
M: “Because we couldn’t get grandpa to sit for them.”
H: “Well why is grandpa here?”
Grandpa: “Because jasper didn’t want to come by himself.”
And I think the mom yells at him and says something about how she doesn’t like the new son and how the son doesn’t need her. Plus, no one cares that Skinner tricked them?

this is an episode that I haven't seen, but I have to assume that you are mistaken when you say this. they have mentioned many states, but never one that they actually live in, because there is not a real state that is quite like theirs. although springfield was apparently modelled on a town in Indiana.

this is an episode that I haven't seen, but I have to assume that you are mistaken when you say this. they have mentioned many states, but never one that they actually live in, because there is not a real state that is quite like theirs. although springfield was apparently modelled on a town in Indiana. |
The 'behind the laughter' episode (a satirical take on VH1's 'behind the music') states that the Simpsons are a "northern kentucky" family. This is the only episode that has ever mentioned a 'home state' for the Simpson family.

I agree its a joke, I said the episode is a satire of 'Behind the music'. But it is still the only episode to mention a 'home state' for the simpsons. A state name is never given in any other episode. That was the question.
