Whats everyones thoughts?
Ive asked friends and the majority think I should. My dad has to look through CVs at his work and says its nice when something different catches his eye and stands out, which in this case poker would.
I set up a poker society at my uni and organised weekly games, this coupled with the skills involved in poker could show some good qualities I have gained.
( I really want to put it on my CV cos otherwise its hard to waffle a nice paragraph on hobbies and interests)

CV = curriculum vita(e)
Same idea generally a little more detailed than a resume.

Oh, ok. Yeah, of course. Just make sure that you focus more on your organizational abilities and talents instead of your poker playing talents.
If people looking want to know about poker, they'll just come flat out and ask you at the interview, so there's no use putting it on your resume.

I get the feeling that more often than not people see poker as a negative thing. Regardless of how much math, people skill, and thinking is involved, the fact that $$$$ is involved makes it so that being a championship poker player will never be held to the same intellectual regard as , say, being a chess player.

Lots of plaecs have "poker socieities" or clubs that don't actually deal with gambling. You know, freerolls and stuff, so they might not automatically write your experience off.
I'd still include it, especially if you put a lot of time and effort into it.
