I took action today per the guidelines in our http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...oker-42882.htm thread.
It was very easy, the entire process only took a few minutes. In fact it took me longer to write up this post than it did to make the call itself.
I urge the rest of you to step up TODAY and take a few minutes to defend online poker.
Here is what I did:
called 800-289-1136
12:30 pm ET it was busy.
12:35 pm ET got through and heard the Greg Raymer Alliance message.
After entering the zip code Greg Raymer reminds us:
1. State your name and that you are a voter.
2. State that you live in the Senator's state.
3. Say that you want your Senator to vote against legislation limiting online poker.
Almost immediately I was patched through to United States Senator Dianne Feinstein's office.
I made the 3 points and gave them my zip code.
I also mentioned that poker is a game of skill and it should be regulated, not banned.
