Post subject: Selling my laptop.....help me!

So two years ago when bonus whoring was all the rage I convinced my (now) wife we should buy a laptop computer so she could play online. We ended up buying the biggest laptop that was out at the time, a 17-inch Gateway 8510gz. It was bad ass, I could play while my (now) wife played right beside me. She wasn't very good but she made about $700 in bonus money, so it paid for about half of the laptop and we were happy.
Anyway, my wife is getting ready to go back to school and she wants a smaller laptop. We decided to buy one at a really great price tonight, and we'll keep it if we can sell the one we have in the next few weeks...
So here are the questions. Where's the best place to go if I'm selling a laptop? Anyone interested in buying mine? It's pretty much top of the line for gaming because of the graphics card it has, and it's great for poker because it's so huge and has 1440 x 900 resolution which was the highest resolution we could find at the time...
Even if you're not interested in buying it, where can I go to sell this thing? Craig's list, eBay, etc? Any other ideas?
Gateway 8510gz, I can post specs if anyone wants me to.
P.S. It's actually a little less than two years old, and it was $1500 when we bought it. It's still under warranty for another 13-months.
EDIT -- I thought the resolution was much higher originally, so I changed it to the actual resolution in this post.

I'm not sure, but I'm willing to negotiate. Ideally we'd like to get $800 for it, but that's probably a long-shot to say the least.

I wouldn't mind selling it to someone here on FTR, but really the main reason I posted this here is because I'd like some other ideas on where to try to sell this...

Thanks to everyone that replied in this thread.
I hate all of you, lol.
Looks like we're going to sell it to a place here in town. They offered $700-800 depending on what kind of shape it's in, and it's barely been used so hopefully we can get that.

Dammit. I really wish I would have known this, obviously. Not to make more money (although that would have been nice), but because I could have sent it to someone here on FTR that could use it for poker...Damn.
