I sometimes watch FTP high stakes games and came across a HU table with sbrugby and Luigi (Antonious). They were playing two different tables, 300/600 NL HU holdem and 6-maxPL omaha 200/400 (they were the only ones there for a while.

In Omaha rugby was gettin anhilated... it seemed like it was mostly coolers, beats, and just not winning ever. He lost a 250k pot at one point, rugby was down tons tonight.

The Holdem game just blew my mind watching it, these guys are so aggro and their ranges are just so wide. I just didn't even get it.

example of a hand. antonious raises 3xBB, sbrugby, who's been three-betting like crazy, three bets to 6200, antonious calls. flop comes T34 two clubs. rugby checks, antonious bets 8k, sbrugby pushed for 45k more, antonious pretty much instacalls and shows T6h, rugby flips over 62c.

Anyways, i was wondering who you thought is the best out of these two guys (in holdem NL)? And was anyone watching?

2p2ers give some Hand Histories. sbrugby runs ridiculously hot in these HH's. But they completely switched roles earlier playing PLO where sbrugby lost sooo many pots.

These guys are both incredibly aggro, no doubt. The hand you gave really isn't a great example though, because while it is loose preflop, of course they are getting it all-in on the flop here in a reraised pot, top pair against big draw.

I would have been extremely interested in watching but I fell asleep on my couch, lol. It's very difficult to say who's better, but I'd be pretty confident in saying antonius is better in omaha. Most people consider bt to be the best NLHE ring player but I havn't really seen antonius play much of it to really form my own opinion.

yeah, i see your point. That hand does show, though, how ridiculously loose their preflop ranges are.
