Damn, I would be ok with a robot coming from the future who's programmed to be into me and capable of beating up way bigger robots.
While we're here, Terminator 2 wass my favorite action movie growing up. Terminator 3 licked my asshole.

you're probably right biggie mcredderson. I was watching football and wanted to watch family guy and it was on int the middle and I was working on a project which I'll post in a day or so when it's done.
I think it's the same terminator, although I agree it would be cool if it changed. Especially if they got celebrities. Arnold, obv. Then IceCube, Samuel L, Steve Beuchemi. That would be amazing.
Oh yeah, at the end of the first episode jon, his mom and the underage friendly terminator were all naked together. Then the naked underage girl went to beat up some guys to steal their clothes and jon was standing uncomfortable close to his mom considering they were naked. Even if your mom was hot, at what distance would you feel it was acceptable to stand? 5ft, 10 yds? Definitely not on her hip when she's bending over a car.

My problem?
The existance of T3 means that the Terminator miniseries cannot in any way, shape, or form put John Connors life in danger. There's no fear of him catching a bullet in the head, because we know that Arnold shows up when he's 19 and he and Clara Danes become the new Adam and Eve.
We also know that Sarah Connor dies of Lukemia. Soooo she could go toe to toe with a nuclear missile, killer bees, and the entire packistani army and we know she dies in a bed, alone.
That's my problem.

Haven't watched it and know nothing about it. Seems like a silly premise for a series, though. I mean, what's the story arc that allows them to draw the Terminator saga out into an entire series?

I don't think we need to make a point about timelines getting messed up. If you want to point out those kind of problems, look no further than Michael Biehn (Kyle Reese? Been a while since I saw T1.) being sent back in time by John to become John's father. The arm/cpu from the first terminator being an important influence in the development of Skynet is another example. After all, the main plot of all the films is to go into the past to change the future. If there is such a thing as an action film with morale, the Terminator morale is that we shape our own future.

The missing years between movies. I'm liking it because it's staying faithful to the storyline (although I'm sure there'll be legions of geeks out there looking for inconsistencies), it hasn't lost the sense of humor the movies had - there are some good one liners, visual gags, etc. - and the action scenes are very well done. They're doing a good job of building new characters, too - the FBI agent tracking them a la The Fugitive, the ex- boyfriend who John got close to and now knows that they're alive in the future...
Definitely got potential to be around for a while.
