Even placed my bets already at Sportsbook.com - go Mickelson/Johnson, Kuchar/Cink, Stricker/Woods and good luck Overton/Watson but not betting on you.
I don't understand why Furyk isn't in the lineup, didn't he just win the Fedex Cup?!

I'm not sure if you know the history of the matches but you're actually right, it used to be just Great Britain and Ireland vs. the US until they Euro's never won and had to include the entire continent to become competitive.

I put money on Europe. Free money, imo.
Classic Mickelson from the bunker. "Pull the flag out I'm going to try to sink this one"...meanwhile Dustin's not even on the green yet and they need par to halve! So of course Mickelson runs it 10 feet by the hole.
I'm disappointed I DVR'd 10 hours of the Ryder Cup and only got to watch 3 hours 
What am I supposed to do all day now?

We're in a good spot imo. Westwood/Kaymer are playing better golf than Mickelson/Johnson and should win... same goes for Poults and Fisher. Cink is playing far too good and will probably single-handedly win the match. And I really fancy Watson/Overton to bottle it and throw that match away.

Yep and you never stop whining about it because we keep beating your ass.
Also, population of US is around 310M. Population of Europe is around 825M. A good number of these countries either don't play golf or are so totally shit as to not show up on the radar (e.g. lose European part of Russia and you account for 145M straight off the bat).
I reckon we're about even. Except we're not even. Europe strong favourites.

funny bit i read was the US team had to go and buy new waterproofs from the club shop cos there own were leaking , whereas the europeans had been working on the design /specs of theirs for the last two years since the venue was decided.
cliffs , it always rains in Wales and a case of fixing the playing field to suit the euros just as us courses are chosen to suit the americans.

Not sure who should take the most blame, b/c even though Tiger played horribly he and Stricker picked up 2 wins. Guess it's Phil and to an extent Furyk/Kuchar who were the FedEx points leaders. Kuchar ends up with a 1-0-2 record but Cink played great and had Matt done anything they probably get the full 3 points.
