So I won a rolex this weekend. I absolutely hate wearing watches, they're cumbersome and useless for me because let's be real, who cares what time it is when u play poker for a living :P

But anyway, it's a free watch so I have to pick one. Which would you guys choose between these? Any other suggestions around the 5k price range?

1)

2)

3)

4)

I should clarify. They gave me two choices, the 4th one which is the black Submariner, and another one I didn't like at all.. They also said I could suggest something else as long as it's within the price range. So I'm looking for suggestions!

If you have a link of that blacked out one plz post it.

Nah I think I'll keep it anyway, esp since they don't lose that much value. Trying to find the nicest one and maybe it'll grow on me.

I love black watches. There's a few different ones. I think this is the most common black one, the submariner.

This one is cool too, the Daytona I think. Think it costs like twice s much though.

Yeah I like it. So it's the same Submariner as in 4th pic, but with the black bracelet and date? You have a model number for it?

the all black watch is definitely the best looking imo (if thats an option). Otherwise I think nr2 or 4 look the best

I was browsing and found the Cosmograph Daytona white gold looks sweet, but then I noticed the price tag

http://www.rolex.com/en/index.jsp#/e.../M116519-0048/

but maybe the steel version is in the price range idk

Yeah it is I've read somewhere it's pretty hard to find one at retail, but they should be around 6.5k for the stainless steel version. The white gold is somewhere around 25k unfortunately

You think the Submariner is stupid, then the SeaDweller is silly fucking stupid. It does have some bragging rights though.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rolex_Sea_Dweller

Alexos, I have a black Explorer II and I think it's the freaking tits. I like the fact that is lacks the big turning bezel. I think it is probably in your price range too. My friends all have Submariners and are very pleased. I think the Green bezel Sub is a special edition for the 50th anniv. I friend of mine has that one and I personally like it a lot. I personally prefer the straight black, classic look for myself though.
Only problem you're going to have with a Rolex is if you don't like to wear watches everyday you need to buy a perpetual winding case or you're going to be resetting the time every time you go to put it on. It will last about 48hours motionless for me until I need to wind or wear it to keep time since it isn't battery powered. It is a long shot, but maybe Zach has figured out his perpetual motion machine and that could cure the problem though.[/img]
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.
