I used to play this game all the time when I was younger. I was wondering if any of you FTRers play online, and if so, where?

I used to love risk. It was interesting how players could be swayed through conversation. We thought about playing it once with no talking allowed but even then folks could form alliances through non-verbal communication. It is a great game because it combines psychology, game theory and all kinds of things.

The thing I remember most about Risk:
Freshman year of high school, playing Risk - I made my friend cry.
What a great moment.

Playing Risk is like debating on the internet. Even if you win you're still retarded.

I disagree with what you say. Though I shall fight to the death for your right to say it.

The term "retarded" isn't really politiclly correct, you insensitive retard.
By the way, my brother is retarded and he would kick your ass up and down the information highway playing risk.
Okay, i don't have a retarded brother, but if i did, i am sure he would be a Risk phenom.
Alright, alright, i don't have a brother, but you are still an insensitive retard.

I wanted to play with some freinds while I was up in michigan at my freinds cabin... but they where all too cool for board games I guess..
I woulda crushed them though, Im good at strategy games, they might have a chance at monopoly... if I dont take the game seriously.

take 3 risk games assemble them so that they can sit on top of each other and play 3d risk.
or take 3 different risk games (they have ones for different time periods), and play time travel risk.

I just want to point out (and EasyT will know what I'm talking about) that Risk has 42 territories. I just thought that was really important to point out.

A little over a year ago, me and 3-4 other guys were playing once a week. People are going to laugh, but for those that enjoy playing orginal Risk, I highly reccomend trying out Risk 2210AD. Our group tried it out one week and we never played original Risk again.
Then I found this website and forced everyone to switch to poker. Haven't played risk for about a year.
