Ive been searching for a way to play poker away from my computer and I stumbled upon this. I was then pissed to find out that it is only available in Windows XP Pro and I have home edition.

What are your thoughts on using Remote Desktop or any other programs like it? And can you make any recommendations?

i dont' recommend this at all.....leaving your computer open to a remote connection is asking for trouble.....9 times out of 10 nothing bad would happen but its not worth it....buy a VPN (Virtual Private Network) router for your PC...read the manuel....do some research online before buying and set urself up a username / password for your own VPN....then just share out the folder of your poker program...works just like a LAN but goes throw external frequencies instead of in house CAT 5 Cabling....i have both the linksys and microsoft 802.11g wireless VPN routers....in this instance microsoft trumps linksys but only this time!

btw PM if you wanna upgrade from xp home to pro

it's a bandwidth hog tho.

why do you wanna play away from home anyways? use pokerroom or pacific's java client if you don't wanna install the program.

VNC is a good remote desktop program.
However, all you really need to do is is just install the client of the poker room, might be easier, expecially since you need to install the VNC client anyways.

And what if your home computer's internet or computer shut down?

Again, I suggest just downloading the cardroom client.

Speaking of hacking, I demand to know how you did your username. Further, I demand that you trade with me. I will be TM (superscript), you will be TylerK.
