I'm not an atheist, I'm agnostic. I completely agree that of all the 'gods' that are today, Allah, God, whatever the Jews pray to, etc, are all way off the mark. The Christian God epically pisses me off tho, simply for the fact that either you believe in what he says or you're gonna burn in hell! O NOES NOT HELL! Friggin retarded. I pretty much hate religion all around, but whatever. It makes for hilarious arguments from time to time, see above.

Anywho, you're angry at the way this god's message has been transcribed. We have no idea what this Christian god thinks we as people should do...but man chose to write down his thoughts on this god in the Bible, Koran, Torah, etc. Therefore, you're really just mad at the people that transcribed the message...

That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

Meh.

I just hate the idea of a religion. If God straight up knocked on my door one day and told me all the secrets of the universe I still wouldn't pray/worship/whatever him. I'd live my life, albeit probably differently since I know wtf is up with everything, but still. I just think that people giving over their minds to something they don't know is real is just crazy. It's like me praying to a jar of grape jelly. And then waging war on my neighbor when they choose strawberry. It makes no sense.

It's not a fallacy. Every man is considered a sinner not because he is expected to sin, but because of the original sin.

People don't subscribe to a religion because of logical arguments. It's a decision. So arguing about it in an environment where you can't punch your opponent in the face is pretty pointless.
