I'm not spamming I promise.
I currently use a Discover Card as my primary CC that gets 1% cash back on all transactions w/ no annual fee, etc. I know there are other good deals on CC out there (frequent flyer miles, GM cards, etc.), and was curious what are some of the better benefits you are receiving for using your card.

i get pretty good rakeback on my Chase Visa. idk the exact amount percentage wise, but for like 10k points i can get a $50 visa gift card. you can pick from all types of stuff like airline tickets, electronics, gc's to different restaurants and stores, etc.

Discover is not the best cashback credit card. They don't give you 1% until you spend over a certain amount each month. My Chase Cash Rewards card gives me 1% from the get-go.
From what I've read, the best CC rakeback is for airline frequent flyer miles. You have to pay an annual fee, but the airline mileage still equals more than 1% rakeback if you use it enough (~2-3% when I had one). Problem is that it's tough to cash in miles on some airlines, you need to fly a fair amount, etc.

My American Express has no Fee and earned me a First class plane ticket, and a coach ticket to AZ last year.
I had it for about 8years before I turned in any miles.
I think they have one with an anual fee, where you earn double miles.

my American Express card gets 1, 2, or 3% back depending what we buy. That shit adds up if you put everything on the credit card.

Chase Cash Plus Rewards ftw! Me and the girl have eaten free at Red Lobster many times. Or you can just get a $50 check. "With your Cash Plus Rewards card, you earn 5 points for every eligible dollar spent on gas, grocery and drugstore purchases. Plus, you earn 1 point for every eligible dollar spent on purchases made elsewhere."
You need 5000 points for $50, so that's $1000 in gas + groceries, which can add up pretty quickly. No annual fee.

didn't really read anything cuz I'm drunk + lazy
chase will pimp your card to it's max potential. If you're looking for high limit, long term it won't be beat.
If you're looking for rewards, I don't know. I get 3% on my top purchases, and if you can hold out, you'll get $250 back for $200 rewards points (as opposed to straight $50/$50).
