arent prob bets usually a bet to motivate two ppl to be doing something that is good for them?
on a side note, you should just eat really healthy while your friend puts on 30lbs and laugh at him afterwards.

Eat breakfast, then like 8 more times a day.
Protein, protein, protein. Working out wouldn't hurt either.

yeah. i mean i doubt it helps if you eat 3 sausage mcmuffins for breakfast, but the basic premise behind it is that you keep eating all day and keep you metabolism going, i think, i could be wrong.

Eating an enormous awful breakfast>>skipping breakfast
Get that calorie overload in their baby.
Peanut Butter (any nuts for that matter) are great because they back a lot of calories in a small bite. The opposite of this would be a leafy vegetable, much more volume, a lot less calories.

only way skipping breakfast or eating late would affect adiposity is via caloric intake. so the answer is no, they dont do what everybody mythically thinks they do.
OP, the more calories you consume and less energy you expend the more weight you will gain, and that's it. this is extremely unhealthy, but consume nothing but high caloric/low sustenance foods. so protein and fiber are not quite what you're looking for. you want stuff like sugar and dressings and stuff. fat is really high calorie but also hard to eat a lot of.
its been a while since ive looked into the more hardcore methods of weight gain, but an old school one i remember involved a lot of cream. do things like put ranch dressing or olive oil on everything you eat, drink a bunch of half n half and sugar sodas, eat tons of french fries, etc. this is very unhealthy, but will yield the fastest (and riskiest results). just do the all american diet of nothing but shitload of fast food.
if you really wanna win this go to a good weight training forum (intensemuscle/doggcrapp's forum) is one of the first that comes to mind. these forums are full of body dysmorphic skinnies who put on a ton of weight for muscle purposes, but for that body type that always involves a bunch of eating for fat gain.
if you reeeeeeaaaly wanna win then get on some tren or fina or dbol or some steroid that causes a ton of water and muscle gain. dont forget post cycle therapy

Mcdonald's for breakast
Burger King for lunch
Pizza hut for dinner
Snack throughout the day and have as much beer as you can manage every evening.
Easy.
Seriously though, how much is the bet for? Is it really worth it. It takes far longer to loose weight than it does to put it on.

Protein, baby! As much as you can squeeze in yo' self. Peanut butter is probably ideal for you.

im just under 6 foot tall and 23. The other person doing this challenge is slightly taller, and 6 pounds lighter. He makes Ethiopians look fat.

150 and fat, ldo. Ive been excessively skinny forever, being a fatty, or more likely mildly plump is gonna be a nice change.

At every meal you should stuff yourself... simple carbs are your friend.... LOTS of soda... LOTS of fast food... My personal suggestion is krispy kreme donuts.

I know you should eat all sorts of bad crap and that will help
BUT
YOU REALLY SHOULD AT LEAST GO TO THE GYM A FEW TIMES A WEEK AND DO SOME HEAVY-WEIGHT LOW REP SETS SO YOU CAN AT LEAST THROW SOME MUSCLE ON.

The reason people say skipping breakfast leads to weight gain is that is messes up your metabolic cycle and thus your brain. Your body has a hard time deciding when it's actually hungry and leads to you eating more during the day.
Also, eating breakfast helps kick start the metabolism so your body burns more calories during the day.
This mostly relates to loosing weight.

Protien and fat. Peanut butter is a good way to get these. Also, fatty meats like hamburger, and steak. Pork fat from bacon and sausage helps too. Eat 5 times a day. Make sure every meal includes plenty of fat and protien or you may actually lose a little. If you don't match your metabolism (which is obviously already high), you won't gain.
Keep cardiovascular movements to a minimum. Do things slowly, and methodically. Regular weight training is a must. High weight 6-8 reps 2 sets. Ensure muscular failure after [b]every[b] set. If your bet is worth it, spring for GNC Pro Performance Whey and Wheybolic protiens. When you get the hang of the weight training, up the weight and do 2-4 reps 3 sets. Include lower body work. Your legs and core will gain muscle faster than any other part of your body.
Win bet
profit
