Ron Paul will definetely make Online Poker legal, he endorsed legislation to regulate it and introduced a speaker in congress to promote it. He is a "former" libertarian, or what used to be called a conservative, and what is also known as a "Laissez-faire" republican, libertarians are known for wanting everything legal.

If I was americano, I'd look for the following candidate to vote;
1) yay net neutrality ( http://savetheinternet.com/=faq, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9jHOn0EW8U)
2) legalize online poker (fuck you george bush & bill frist, and others)
3) make love, not war

cynical post upcoming....
what we dont understand is just how LITTLE any of this matters. i have lost my will to even give a shit, personally.
they have their heads so far up special interest committee's asses, its not even funny. and, besides, there isnt much of a difference...politically...anyway with where any one individual will take/lead a country. you could vote in mickey mouse and the country would be no better/worse off in 4 years.
we are headed for stagflation/recession. the fed will lower rates to bail out bad lenders. economy will see a false bump. fed will raise rates to stave off inflation. repeat.
the congressmen/women will continue to spend money for the benefit of their constituents...not the country as a whole. they will continue to TRY and deliver on campaign promises to those who gave the most money, but cant fulfill said promises to most.
healthcare wont be fixed....ever. dependence on foreign oil wont be fixed...ever. alternative fuels will be a "token research project." besides, studies show alternative fuels cause more damage environmentally anyway.
global warming will be a hot topic, but any "independent" scientist tells you its all in the cycles of the sun, not much humans can do about it one way or the other. its really a way to "scare" idiot citizenship into spending money in the direction the gov't/media want you to go.
we will continue to sell our souls to China...outsourcing every piece of product we can for corporate profit. in the meantime, building THEIR economy into the largest on the planet. oh, and giving them the money to use in "oil warfare" against us. (how dumb is that?)
our society is so immediate gratification oriented...like ROME...that we will implode as a society. gov't corruption, and a citizenship too stupid to see it, will be our downfall. and it WILL happen in our children's lifetimes.
the problem is our lack of leadership, and the fact that IF we did have a real leader, he/she couldnt do anything anyway. the other party would be so busy "blocking" his/her every move that we would never see the fruits of his/her visions.
we continue to stagnate while other countries continue to catch us and pass us by.
only a matter of time.
and you can blame the very politicians you are struggling to vote for.

obama is in my town right now at the opera house
about a mile away from my place
lebanon NH
the crowds are ridiculous
i went to the gym this morning which is located abot 200yards from the event. cars were being towed from the private lots
the gym had 2 of their gorilas out in their parking lot warning people that they would be towed
i foresee
an obama win NH
a missed opporitunity for edwards(he should have won this state)
romney and mccain will do well in NH
and ron paul will start to increase support
huckabee and rudy will fall
as of right now FTR is sending me to vote for obama
i will post tomorrow before i go to vote which candidate i will vote for based on the winner of the poll

This is true if the senate and the president are different parties. When one party owns the majority you would hope something would get done. When the republicans had the majority nothing was done to change this country.
My vote goes liberal.

usually i vote for george bush but is not an opton this time
the voting tomorrow is part of a process to determine which canidates will represent the democrat and republican parties in the presidential election in the fall of 2008
New hampshire's voting is before all states except iowa
after wednesday over half of the canidates will drop out of the race
NH has an unfair advantage

Voting for a woman is voting to keep things the same?
Not that I think anyone should vote for her (please don't!), but that argument goes both ways.
Besides, who gives a shit if he's black. I agree he'd be a change, but that's not why.

so you're saying you would vote for obama because we've never had a black president? well what about voting a woman into office? that is a serious change. that is almost as significant. oh wait, clinton is a total biatch. it seems silly to me to vote for someone because it hasn't been done. im sure thats not what you mean, but thats what it comes off as.

You probably don't really care, but it stems from the fact that we have a bunch of separate states that in the beginning didn't want higher population states to completely out-number hence out-vote the states with less people. Therefore, we have a Senate and a House of Representatives which make up the Electoral College.
Just as with today's globalization of our economies, our country has nationalized in its maturity. Our country started out more regionalized and states had more power than the national government. When forming the national government the founding fathers had to create a framework of government that would make the states want to join as a nation voluntarily, therefore gives states much more power hence the accomodations for the voting system. Nowadays the national government is much, much bigger & more powerful. The electoral college system is probably outdated now that our states are nationalized or melted together for most intents and purposes.

Hillary has been in the WhiteHouse Already. Obama Is a new face, Fresh start. I feel he would do more to help out the middle/lower class people. Also he's open minded to Internet gambling. I'm not voting for him just because he's Black. It will be a big change for the country.
We need less government, not more.

Paul's not in NH? Oooooh bad. Getting on Leno is very good though.
And Obama's blackness is not gonna necessarily be good for the country. Racism towards blacks doesn't exist except in the fringe and impotent now. Children have been for a while raised with racially equal philosophies. If anything, there being a black president will give white people ammo to tell some black people to shut the fuck up about the white man ficticiously getting them down or reparations or racism or whatever the fuck.

this country is so race obsessed. there are two types imo:
1)the people who discriminate against a race/ethnicity because they are that race/ethnicity(which is the more traditional racist).
2) the more neo racists, which are generally the left, that make everything into an issue of race. this kind of racism is borne of the more traditional way and although it is not as "hateful" it is really fucking obnoxious.
