Post subject: Which Pressure Washer?

I need a new pressure washer. I have an old piece of shit electric one (1800 psi) that takes me forever to clean my driveway, siding, etc. I have to deal with extention cords, the water hose, the sprayer hose and it's a pain in the ass.
I'm thinking 3000 psi should just about do it. Found some at Sears, Lowes, Sams, Home Depot, etc. But theres lots of options: Honda Engine, B&S engine, vertical shaft, horizontal shaft, GPM, Axial drive, direct drive, blah blah blah
I need an expert or at least someone who knows more that me.
I don't have $1000 to spend either. $400 is probably the max.
Help?

Can you get a used one? I dunno if you can get a good new one for less than $400, but I'm not an expert or anything. Plus I live in Vancouver where everything is vastly overpriced.
