The dog is pit bull, doberman, and english bull terrior and used to get pwned by the cat.

Now all you cat owners, do you mostly own male cats? Every cat that has ever came up to me and been cool has been a male, every female cat I have ever seen is a fucking asshole and either hides or tries to attack me.
I would get a cat if it would be cool to me and affectionate, but I won't feed and clean up for some bastard animal that doesn't like me.

I had cats while growing up so I became a "cat person." I like dogs but they need a lot of attention and a lot of work goes into taking care of them, whereas cats don't need the same type of care.
Most of the cats I've had have been awesome, but yeah girl cats can sometimes be pretty bitchy. The cat we have right now is ridiculously cool around my wife and me but is scared shitless with people and/or other cats around (story to follow). The best cat I ever had was a girl, though, but she was raised with nothing but dogs (at my grandma's) so she acted a lot like a dog...
Anyway, the orange cat we have above, we didn't choose him....he really chose us. In the first house my wife and I moved into we had three empty lots behind us. In these empty lots (and in the houses on these lots) there were literally dozens of cats. These were feral cats, totally wild, never been touched by humans sort of cats. They were crazy and vicious. It was fucking awesome though, it was like animal planet outside our house on a daily basis. We started buying the cheapest cat food ever and we'd throw it to them just to watch them fight over it. It was cool.
We started noticing this one cat (our cat, Cooper) that wouldn't dive in and fight for food. He'd come up only after all the other cats were gone and usually there was nothing left. My wife and I started noticing this and we started to save food just for him. The cat obviously wasn't a feral cat, he'd come up and meow at us, bump our legs with his head, and eat out of our hands...Anyway, this cat got super skinny to where you could see bones/muscles and my wife and I both said to ourselves "next time we see that cat we're taking it in" because it obviously wasn't a street-cat. A week went by and we didn't see it again (it looked like death already) so we figured it died...
We came home one night a few days later and he was waiting for us....We took him right in and he peed on newspaper and everything. Dude doubled his body weight in six weeks to baloon up to the fatass that he is today...
OMG I can't believed I typed all of that and I can't believe I'm posting it either. I worked a lot of hours today I guess, lol....
