I just checked in to the hotel and was jazzed up to play some pokahz. Unfortunately I can't get connected to Stars. Anyone else having problems?

but everything else (web sites, etc.) is working fine. Pokerstars is the only thing not working.

I'm so fucking pissed now I don't even want to look at porn. Called tech support, he upped my bandwidth and Stars is STILL too damn slow. I can't even sit at a table without it timing out every time it is my turn to act.
Fucking piece of shit hotel internet. If it isn't fixed tomorrow I will have to find a 24 hour hot spot just to play in the Gauntlet.

I've had a similar problem in the past. Apparently some routers have issues (although they seemed to all be referring to wireless). They don't properly maintain an open connection to stars, so your computer need to re-connect with their server or something. Don't know why I never have this problem at AP.
Solution that works for me:
open command prompt
run -> type "cmd"
setup a continuous ping
ping <ip address> -t
I THINK you can just ping anything. I ping the router, so type "ipconfig" and use the number after "default gateway"
