I started work 3 weeks ago and haven't really been using my work laptop for anything other than work. This is because at home I still have my personal computer and use that for everything else. Soon I will be traveling 3-4 days a week and staying in hotels. I would like to play poker on my work computer while at the hotel or other non-work/client related sites. I know not to do anything non-work related at client sites, work sites, etc but what about on my own free time? What has been your experiences in this situation?

Just ask your boss. I know my with my fathers old work computer we would all use it for whatever when it was at the house.

Oh yeah, forgot online poker is sort of illegal for you guys. Like I said, just ask the boss.

I used my work laptop and an overhead projector to show my colleagues how to 2 table $100NL. The boss and his deputy were both there.
But then this was on our department's offsite seminar thingy and we had all drunk a few beers and I had just won our little donkament...
Great living in a country that did not elect a twat like Frist.
