Alright... So, I'm going to have a French Oral exam in 3 weeks and I need to pick a topic which has to be related to France and it would help me if I knew something about the topic. Now I'm not saying that I'm definitely going to pick "poker in France" or something like that as my topic. BUT, if I get some good ideas, then I'll definitely look into it.
So anyways,
- anyone know about the French poker scene?
- any famous French pros?
- has there been a boom in poker in France or anything recently?

Poker in the commune tends to be ignored because Rilla Will Kill you. Just saying this puts me on the radar. I'd run if I were you.

French poker scene: Used to suck until Aviation Club became popular. Still sucks because the rake at the Aviation Club is monstrous and smoking is allowed in the poker room. There are lots of young internet players who mostly suck.
Famous french pros: Bruno Fitoussi is the only one that comes to mind, but I heard that he doesn't consider himself a pro.
