Online poker practice helps traders to read the markets correctly

Interesting, also interesting that this idea has come from the UK, usually most crazy ideas come from America!

it's not that weird. susquehanna investments, near philadelphia, have always placed a high value on poker for their trader training.

After all, in many workplace situations the ability to get away with white lies, to save face or be diplomatic, or to smooth over or disguise mistakes and errors, is a big advantage.

the most important poker skill applicable to jobs is probably the fact that you can do everything perfect, and still lose. it's the longterm aspect of good poker players that are good at the workplace...'grinding' it out is probably a good attribute as well.
