Hi, Im going to Auckland for a year to study ecounomy. I wonder if there are any good live opertunities in Auckland?

Im a norwegian dude, that play alot online, 200- 600nl headsup cash.

Would be cool to get in contact with other grinders too

Auckland is still pretty new to poker so for any games on your level I would go to SkyCity Casino. I never usually play live but they have games running. They have a monopoly so the rake (10% capped at $10) is a killer but its the only place for mid to high cash games.

sounds cool cant wait to go there! but too bad its cold in NZ when its summer in norway :P

PM me when you get here. There is a nice home game running (tourney) with a $40 buy-in every Wednesday. Its a small game but there are always enough players with good contacts for other games and some of them are casino regulars.
