There was another goring death at San Fermin in Pamplona this morning, the first goring death since American Matt Tassio in 1995. Early reports are it was in the Telefonica stage of the run, which is up by the bull ring.
I ran with the bulls at San Fermin about 5 years ago, but from the town hall area. Great festival and a great time but this will really somber the event.

wait so people and bulls run together, as in like neck and neck, easy to get trampled etc.... and only 2 people have died in 14 years?

Yes, with about 15 total deaths in the last century. Apparently he was trying to get out of the way by diving feet first under a side fence and the bull got him in the neck.
