Its a little different than your normal frats you guys are thinking of. Its a small off campus fraternity in Santa Cruz where the greek scene is not big at all. There is no "official frat house" just a couple places where some of the frat guys live with other people. Our pledge class is a whole 4 people and it was actually 2 before they recruited me and my buddy.
My friend and I have known these guys for a long time and always hit up there parties. The sorority girls they attract are always the fun type and good looking. They have always been lobbying for us to join but this year they were almost desperate.
I told em straight up I wasn't gonna be the raw raw frat type and I won't put up with any bullshit hazing and they were cool with it. So me and my buddy joined kinda like a donation to all their beer we seem to drink.
Its a little different then what you guys are thinking. I don't get hazed but i gotta participate in the drinking contests which I personlly enjoy.
