So they're done with the open questions, what is this?
And obv I voted, but really the best thing for us to prop up would be a position on internet freedom, not online poker, because there is a much wider audience that cares about internet freedom, and we could cross post the link on lots of non-poker forums too.
i suggested as much 2p2 a few weeks back for open questions, but got shot down because people are dumb. would have done it myself, but i do not know any internet freedom issues other than uigea

anybody know durrrr? get him to post a thread in nvg stating to vote up poker and everything else on the front page DOWN. that would do a ton of good
seriously, voting everything else down would put us much higher. i know a lot of us like some of the other ones on there, but this is not the time to prop those up since they're already popular and getting attention. this our time to make obama look at poker. he already knows about health care, marijuana, everything else on front page. POKER NOW. everything else is the enemy for the time being

and actually if a bunch of poker pros stated to vote the poker one up and everything else on the blogs we would see poker get a lot higher. most voters are not voting down the competing questions, which is all right to some degree, but in this scenario its not going to change what obamas team thinks about all the other questions if poker is 1st or 20th. what it would change is how much they look at poker

Light rails and green issues are much more important imo. But yeah, if we could gain some extra tax dollars to support these issues by taxing poker, it's a win!

im sure the comments thing has to do with online poker has a community that regularly posts stuff on internet, whereas the other issues are probably more like getting their support from obama supporters who happen to use the internet
