Why is it that people think they can just line cut 12 ppl at Chipotle because their friend got there 10 minutes before them? They just start pushing past everyone, like "outta my way, I am more important than you and my friend is up there at the front of the line so I am gonna just join him/her there." This happens all the time and it is very frustrating, and no one ever says anything, so maybe I am the only one who this annoys. Thoughts??

uhh.. any half decent taqueria? You know, owned and operated by mexicans..
that being said, I do eat chipotle sometimes because its quick and cheap. Its consistent too, and sometimes I tire of real mexican food.

Yes
No, and has never happened to me
Don't know
Unfortunately no
It's fast like fast food but way better. I say it's amazing for $6. Sure you can get better Mexican at a "real Mexican" restaurant (pretty sure anything in the midwest is a joke compared to the southwest, no matter how nice or what you pay).

I liked Qdoba way better back in the day (knock-off chain like Chipotle), but they went out of business.
Chipotle is pretty damn good for a $6 meal. Is it better than true Mexican food? Hell no, but that'd be like saying "insert random fast food chain here" is better than the real thing they're trying to imitate.
EDIT: Just went to the Qdoba website and they're still in business. Apparently Chipotle knocked them out of the Kansas City market (they're freaking everywhere), so the nearest one is in Topeka.

swig, actually it all depends on the demographics of the area. Chicago, I believe, has the second largest Mexican immigrant population outside of the southwest. So we have some damn fine Mexican food.

There are a lot in Columbus too. The food is good here, don't get me wrong. But I've never had southwestern mexican, so I'm just going off what I've heard.

I actually had a professor offer bonus points for suggesting the closest chipotle-like mexican restaurant. He had a huge rant about how awful the suggestion was during the next class.

Close. The original holders sold the majority share to mcdonalds, who made moves to take the company in directions the original holders did not like. So they bought the majority back.
