For all of those who are not reading my blog (shameless insertion here:
http://blog.flopturnriver.com/chardrian.php) you would not know that I am a recently ordained PeaceMaker. In the spirit of this lovely (although depressingly freezing) holiday season, I offer this post as a Lifetime/Hallmark let's all feel good about ourselves and this site special moment.

To Xianti, Eric, and Tyson - thank you for making this a great site. I appreciate the work you have put and continue to put into this site - I am confident this site has made me into what will become a winning player for the year 2006 and beyond.

To all the FTR members who have PMed me, or responded to my posts when I have displayd my inept bankroll management. Thank you for looking out for me. At this stage in my poker career, I realize that this is my biggest struggle.

To all the FTR members who have read and responded to my posts. Thank you for your time, criticism, and analysis. Although we may not always agree on the appropriate play, the discussion that takes place on these forums regading poker hands and strategies has helped my game immensely.

To Santa. Please keep me from sliding back again. I have now gotten my bankroll up to the $3k mark again for what is now the 4th time. For whatever reason this mark has been a benchmark for when I decide I am a poker pro and then end up losing my roll only to have to start over again. I feel I am now good enough to make over $10k a year and would really like to achieve that next year.

Oh and one other thing santa - could you please keep this site from sliding into a drama fest? It seems to me that whenever members have a problem with another member, they should try and handle it privately first through PM. When administrators or moderators do something that a member disagrees with, however, I have no problem in posting a public topic to initiate discussion and debate as long as it is done in a respectful manner.

After that post, it is now time for me to go watch "It's a Wonder Life." Wishing you and yours a happy holiday season.

It's much harder to trace a baseball bat than it is a gun.

no, when you killsomeone with a gun, you make sure theres nothing to be traced. If you own a gun you should own a wheel grinder (not sure if thats the official name). This grinder should be kept in a small unused room lined with plastic. When you do kill someone, grinde the gun down until it no longer exists. This might take some time, but dont get jump, with no murder weapon there is no murder. After you are done gridning use a vacuum and vac up all the lil grindings, then take hte grinder, vacuum and wrap it in the plastic that lined the room. Now dispose of all of this, in a comercial garbage can, after closing time of the business. Dont worry about someone looking in and seeing this stuff, worst case they pick it out and decide to use it since its in good workign condition. People freak when they find a dead body, not a grinder and a vacuum wrapped in plastic.

Once again, take your time, remember no murder weapon; no murder.

Thats not true at all. No body, no murder. But the weapon itself can be missing and still people are convicted for murder. It happens.

Not being able to find the weapon DOES make it much harder to pin it on someone but not imposible. People can (and do) get convicted on circumstantial evidence.
Stakes: Playing $0.10/$0.25 NL

People freak when they find a working grinder in the trash, not when they're exploded from finding body goo and a vacuum wrapped in plastic.
