To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

People who keep that much money online are crazy IMO. One hacker and poof, it's gone. I keep about 10K online and everything else stays in my bank account where it's safe. Obv people who play in the big games need to keep more money than that online (I play 200NL), but even for them I think keeping 150K in your PartyPoker account is idiotic.

meh, they really can't get more than 10k from you. Plus, i mean he prolly just had a good day at 25/50, and couldn't cash it all out at once.

I mean its all relative. Considering the stakes you play at theres absolutely no reason to keep 10k online. Yanoe?

Probably not, although 3K of it is W$ and T$ so only 7K is liquid, and I did have a 11-buyin downswing once. I should probably withdraw some money though.

Thats a 100NL game. I have a hard time seeing that much money sitting at a 100NL game.

I stand corrected. But still isnt that a lot of money for .5/1 limit then? I havent played a lot of limit, but what I have has been at the 1/2 level. And Ive never seen that much at the 1/2 level. But heck, Ive never seen that much in my life period.

lambchop sat at 0.01/0.02 lhe on stars with 80k when he won (god lets not start another gay thread of arguements) so im sure theres no max amount you can sit with at a limit table.
